In one of my previous articles I have analyzed the issue of proper calculation of the allowance period. At the same time it is also worth to mention the issue of the employee’s return to work after long lasting absence due to sickness, during which he collected sickness allowance. It is crucial, because allowing the employee who is not fit to perform work to work, may have negative consequences for the employer. What should the employer do, when the employee returns to work and notifies reediness to perform work after absence due to the sickness that lasted longer than 30 days?
